In this exercise LaSalle County entered a Delegation of Authority with IL-IMT with instruction of our roles, responsibilities and timetables. The exercise incident was an event involving a semi-truck crash into a building in Marseilles Area with possible indications of a terrorism nexus. Illinois Task Force 1, the Illinois National Guard CERF-P (Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear and Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package) and IL-IMT were players in this exercise.
2016 June Team Meeting at Cook County Department of Homeland Security

Approved minutes of those meetings are published in the quarter following the meeting on the team website (www.il-imt.org). On June 11th we had a full day agenda of CCDHS tours, GIS training and WebEOC.
2016 EMAT/IMT Spring Exercise
Submitted by Mike Moos on Thu, 2016-06-30 14:33On April 27th IL-IMT participated in a joint exercise with Emergency Management Assistance Team (EMAT) prior to the Illinois Emergency Services Management Association (IESMA) training summit held in Springfield. The venues included two trailers simulating IMT being located in cities of Harrisburg and Carbondale communicating with a southern Illinois EOC. The disaster was the result of a New Madrid Fault Earthquake. The EOC then communicated with the State EOC.
2015 - December, Deployment, Flooding, Olive Branch
Submitted by Mike Moos on Wed, 2016-02-10 17:59During the last week of 2015, the Midwest, including the State of Illinois, received dramatic amounts of rain. This resulted in fast and unusual winter flooding in many parts of the state with the severest hit in southern Illinois. IL-IMT was put on standby that week and on January 1, 2016, IEMA assigned the team to report to the Command Post in Olive Branch. Team members deployed at all hours of the very early morning from all over the state. We reported to the MABAS Reception Center that was stationed in front of the Anna Fire Department.
2015 - September, Big Yellow Exercise, Mossville
Submitted by Mike Moos on Mon, 2016-01-25 17:13During two days in September, ten IMT members participated at a Caterpillar Facility Full Scale Exercise in Mossville. IMT was among 26 organizations invited by the Peoria County Healthcare Preparedness Coalition to participate in the important event. The simulated scenario was a commercial airliner crash landing on a nearby state highway and next to a large occupied Caterpillar office building. IL-IMT member Troy Erbentraut was the Exercise Planning Team Co-Director and was key in getting us invited and providing us a significant role in the event.
2015 - August, Prairie Assurance Exercise, Springfield
